Released in 2003, Elephant is the fourth studio album by the American rock duo The White Stripes. Filled to the brim with blues rock, punk blues and alternative rock arrangements, everyone instantly recognises Elephant by The White Stripes, and if you don’t, its time to change that!
Jack White produced the album with antiquated equipment, including an eight-track tape machine and pre-1960s recording gear. As stated in the liner notes, White did not use computers during Elephant’s writing, recording, or production, and none of the recording equipment was more recent than 1963.
Featuring classic White Stripes songs such as Black Math, I Just Don’t Know What To Do With Myself snd of course Seven Nation Army (dun dun dun dun dun duuun dun…) you will not be disappointed when adding this incredible body of work to your record collection!
