Considered to be one of the most influential Nu-Metal albums of the early 2000s, Steal This Album provides new listeners a clear understanding of what System of a Down stands for musically and politically. Focusing on themes of gun control, globalization and the effect advertising has on society, leads singer Serj Tankian’s lyrics send a clear message in the most hypnotic way possible.
Instrumentally, this album is filled with wild guitar solos, blaring bass, and vicious drums that all dance together to create the iconic System of a Down sound that fans have come to love.
